Shipping Policy

At Breakwater Blue we value our commitment to provide you with high quality Recycled Sail Bags, Eco-friendly Apparel and Accessories in a quick, convenient manner. Breakwater Blue located in Hingham, Massachusetts ships its products via USPS Priority Mail and all customers will be provided tracking information upon shipment. Return Policy and Restrictions

Return Policy

  • Custom Products are non-returnable and non-refundable. If the product is defective we will replace or repair your custom product.
  • Standard stock product that was purchased directly from Breakwater Blue is returnable with full credit within 30 days of purchase with a receipt.
  • Products must be in good condition with hangtags attached.
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
  • Sale merchandise is not available for returns after 14 business days.
  • You can expect refunds within 30 days after we receive the returned product.
  • Reusable Glass straws are the only product not held under the above standards. See instructions below for replacement items.

Damaged or defective items

  • We are diligent on the quality of our products and do our best to make sure the best quality product goes out. If you receive a damaged or defective item from Breakwater Blue, please contact us immediately for a replacement. All returns must be processed through the included instructions online. Once we have processed your return, you will receive credit, or a repaired or replacement product.


  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 30 days of receiving your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax. Shipping and handling will not be refunded.
  • You will only be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer or shipping error on our part.

Return Instructions

After an order has been placed and a return is needed, login into My Account and initiate your return by filling out the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Please note their is a 30 day return policy (see policy and restrictions above)

To start the return process:

  1. Login to your account on the website in the 'My Account' section.
  2. In the Track Your Recent Orders section, the click on the View Details link for the order you would like to initiate the return for.
  3. Once in the order, the click on the "Add New RMA" button.
  4. Choose the number of items you want to return in the Order Items section.
  5. In the Order Return Options section, choose the Reason and Method for the return.
  6. Finally, if you choose to, add a comment in the Comments section. This is optional. Once done, click Save RMA and en email will be sent to both you and the merchant to process the return.

After initiating the return on the website, you will receive an email advising that the RMA was received. The message will contain the order number, the RMA number and instructions on how to ship the item back.

For troubleshooting issues or for help completing a return, please call 781-908-4367 or Email Customer Service. We reserve the right not to accept any return without a completed Return form.

Glass Straw Lifetime Guarantee and Replacement Instructions

Our glass straws are manufactured by Simply Straws. With their lifetime guarantee they stand behind their straws and by doing so will replace your straw at no charge to you other then the cost of shipping and handling. To do so please see instructions on how to obtain your replacement.

While our straws are made of borosilicate glass, the strongest glass available, we understand they are not completely indestructible.We are confident that Simply Straws glass drinking straws are rugged enough to handle daily life and use but we understand life happens and have our Lifetime Guarantee for this reason. Our Lifetime Guarantee Against Breakage applies to our glass straws only, excluding shipping & customization.

To receive your code please take a photo of the straw, with a visible logo, and upload it onto our replacement form with your information. Please allow 5-7 business days once we receive your form to process your request. We will issue you a web-store credit and provide you with the coupon code for non-customized glass straw that you may use on any products at
